In a nutshell: This programme is the national roll out of a pilot scheme implemented by the national QIPP Safe Care workstream, which aims to eliminate harm in patients from four common conditions: pressure ulcers, falls, urinary tract infections (in patients with a catheter) and new venous thromboembolism.
