In a nutshell: This study looked at people aged 65 and over in Australia to see how many participated in physical activity to prevent falls. It found that those who had lower levels of education, were from disadvantaged neighbourhoods, or had various types of health problem who were more likely to fall. It concludes that population based approaches and targeted strategies for high risk groups are required.
